6-6 29-bit Address Mode and 32-bit Address Extended Mode
The SH-4A can use 32-bit address mode.

32-bit address extended mode is set by setting the SE bit of the Physical Address Space Control register (PASCR).

The maximum physical address space is 512 MB in 29-bit address mode, but in 32-bit address extended mode, the P1, P2 areas can be mapped anywhere in a 16MB to 512MB space using the 16 entry privileged space mapping buffer (PMB).
